When my mum passed away during Covid, I knew I wanted to use my inheritance for something meaningful; something that would keep her presence alive in our everyday life. That’s how Castle Jude was born, tucked into the garden of Mulberry House. By day, it’s my peaceful home office. By night, it transforms into a cosy family hideaway; a place for the kids to be carefree and creative. Yes, we could have used the money for the mortgage, but this felt like a celebration of my mum’s life. It’s filled with her photographs, her little treasures, and I really do feel so close to her whenever I spend time in it.
